That’s a Wrap at Circle Cinema!

Thank you for attending the inaugural Twisted Arts Film Festival! We sold over 300 seats to 11 films over the four day festival. On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, we extend our heartfelt thanks to attendees, filmmakers, panelists, sponsors, volunteers, and the staff of Circle Cinema. We feel very fortunate for the community support and could not present Twisted Arts Film Festival without all of you.

The goal of Twisted Arts Film Festival is to amplify LGBTQ+ artists by showcasing the best independent films. From November 11-14, 2021 we presented 11 diverse stories from LGBTQ+ filmmakers, including a special Opening Night screening of the Tulsa-based documentary “The Sound of Identity” followed by a panel discussion with James Kicklighter (Director), Russ Kirkpatrick (Producer), V. Payton (Crew Member) and Eileen Schaumleffle (Oklahoma Center for Community & Justice).
