Friday, April 17 & Saturday, April 18, 2026

Join Twisted Arts for a two-night celebration of filmmaker and cult icon John Waters. Known for his outrageous humor, rebellious spirit, and unforgettable characters, Waters has spent decades pushing the boundaries of cinema and celebrating the strange, the campy, and the wonderfully weird. This special birthday event brings two of his most beloved films back to the big screen for a weekend of laughter and nostalgia.

On Friday night, we’ll screen Polyester, presented with its original Odorama experience, where audience members receive special scratch-and-sniff cards that correspond with moments in the film. It’s a ridiculous, hilarious, and uniquely John Waters way to watch a movie.

On Saturday night, we’ll continue the celebration with Hairspray, Waters’ colorful and joyful tribute to 1960’s Baltimore.

Come out for one night or both and celebrate the birthday of one of cinema’s most delightfully subversive storytellers.
